Good, clear, impactful graphic design is sometimes seen as a luxury that businesses can do without but in today's marketplace producing well designed marketing materials instantly promotes credibility. A customer may take only seconds to decide if your product is worthwhile. Don't waste that time.
As an independent designer I can offer a down to earth, straightforward process to getting the best promotional materials for your products and services. With one point of contact, time is spent on design and print not on hot air. Listening to what a client wants so that their customers will be engaged in turn.
Many years working at agencies in London and latterly back home in North Yorkshire have afforded me a wealth of experience. Have a look around the site and if you are interested contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.

Just a few things you might find useful

PDFs from Adobe Acrobat
Let's face it, pdfs are brilliant. Instant proofing for anyone with a computer anywhere. Pdfs save time, save trees, I can't imagine life without them. If you don't have a full version of Acrobat you'll need Acrobat Reader on your system to open pdfs. It can be downloaded for FREE from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/

Image file specifications
Images intended for print typically need to be 300dpi (dots per inch) at an appropriate size for the final printed work. For example an A6 image will blur if it is forced to fill an A4 page.
JPEGS vs EPS logo files
A logo supplied as an Illustrator or Freehand EPS (vectored artwork) is much preferable to a JPEG. EPS's (.eps) can be enlarged without losing any detail and can be used on any background.

Incase you were wondering...
Was London mentioned somewhere? I began my professional career in London, working there for 12 years, at several agencies. Areas of work varied from commercial property, publishing, government backed projects to businesses still in their infancies. It equipped me with a broad set of skills and an understanding of clients' expectations. Design has always been a case of fitness for purpose for me whatever the sector or budget. I have been back in North Yorkshire since 2000 and have been freelance since January 2004.

Computer geek? Hopefully not. I keep up with technology that saves time and money and opens up new areas of business but away from the office I also love biking, hiking and laughing. Ears appreciate Radio Four, Rufus Wainwright, Camille, Turin Brakes, Sigur Ros and the odd bit of Vaughan Williams just for starters.
